Dear North School Parents:

Welcome to the North Parent Group (NPG) home page. The NPG's mission is to support North School children, North School staff and provide community building activities for North Families. The NPG is part of the Associated Parents' Group (APG) of Hillsborough (APG). 

The North Parent Group wants you to have all the information you need to feel connected to our wonderful community. Below and in the navigation bar to the right are some of the ways for you to enjoy that experience.

  • The SWAT committee encourages North families to walk or bike to school on the first Wednesday of every month.  We will have parent volunteer crossing guards near school intersections to ensure everyone's safety.  For any questions or concerns, please contact Sheila Higgins Druskin ( or Zara Fritts (

  • North Parent Group (NPG) Dues -   At North, we depend entirely on your NPG dues to fund many educational programs and events as well as yearbooks, Art in Action, enrichment supplies and staff gifts, just to name a few.  We appreciate your continued support of our Parent Group.  Dues are paid online by clicking here.
  • Volunteering at North - Volunteers are integral to our efforts.  Last year, our volunteers gave over 19,000 hours of their time.  Volunteering also gives us the chance to build community and foster new friendships.  For the link to the sign-ups click here
  • North News - The North News is emailed to the school community on a biweekly basis and is also posted on the North School website. Read the North News for all of the latest information on what is happening at the school.
  • New Families to North School Grades K-5 - please contact our Welcoming New Families Committee Chairs Kirsten Braccia ( or Jana Arbanas Ossher ( to be matched up with a new Family Buddy who can help your children transition smoothly and become part of the North School Community.
